\"lifeI watched an incredibly sad yet inspiring video on YouTube<\/u><\/a> this morning, and it got me thinking. How many things do we put off for later, thinking we will have time. Thinking we will eventually get round to it. I don\u2019t want to put off doing the things I love and that bring me joy. You shouldn\u2019t either. I have spoken to so many people over the years who have considered learning to ride a motorbike, but for one reason or another they put it off. They worry about what people will think. Or they think it\u2019ll be dangerous. Or it\u2019s too expensive to learn. They\u2019ll need to buy too much gear. All the while there is a nagging thought in the back of your head. But you put it off and forget about it and life gets in the way. And so the excuses pile up and the years pass by.<\/p>

All I can say without a shadow of a doubt is that riding a motorcycle was the single best decision I ever made. I\u2019m grateful every day for the opportunity to ride. It brings me endless joy - it\u2019s incredibly good for your mental and physical wellbeing. You get to your destination quicker. You can park for free! It\u2019s way cheaper to run than a car. The benefits far outweigh any negatives for me. Yes sometimes you get wet. Yes the gear can be expensive. But any concern for the cost of these things disappears completely when you\u2019re out on the road. All that matters is that you are on your bike. It is impossible to put the feeling into words - you can\u2019t explain the pure joy that motorcycling brings. It is something you need to experience for yourself. There is some magic in riding a motorcycle.<\/p>

And so I want to try and start some kind of initiative - get people talking about bikes, riding bikes and sharing the love of all things two wheeled (not bicycles!!!). Sure, it\u2019s not for everyone, but if you are one of those people who always wondered about trying to ride a motorbike, I strongly suggest you give it a go. You want to talk about it? Get in touch with me! I\u2019ll talk bikes all day long! Perhaps I can convince some fellow bikers to help me spread the word\u2026In the meantime, I made this design. I\u2019ll stick it on a t-shirt that you can buy, if you fancy it!<\/p>
